LET’S STOP HIV
TOGETHER!

WHO WE ARE

Let’s Stop HIV Together is an evidence-based campaign with the goal of reducing the rising rates of HIV diagnosis and transmission in various areas. The Balm in Gilead, Inc. is a PACT (Partnering and Communicating Together) partner supporting the initiative by giving a voice to those who have been affected by HIV, assisting in the distribution of resources in communities with high transmission rates, and ultimately cooperating to end HIV stigma.

WHY WE DO IT

The goal of Let’s Stop HIV Together is to encourage all adults to get tested for HIV, ultimately helping to make HIV testing a regular part of every one’s health routine. The necessity of knowing your personal HIV status and having access to information about the appropriate next steps based on that status is highlighted by testing.

ENDING THE HIV EPIDEMIC

Events for the PACT Program sponsored by The Balm In Gilead will be held in the regions of Alabama,Mississippi, and Georgia.Events hosted by PACTwill take place at local Churches and Historically Black Colleges & Universities within selected communities.

HIV STIGMA

Let’s Stop HIV Together’s anti-stigma movement brings attention to the ways in which every person can do their part in creating an anti-stigma atmosphere for those living with HIV. Additionally, this movement ensures that people living with HIV and those close to them are given a voice.

HIV TESTING

Let’s Stop HIV Together makes testing accessible and easy, right from the comfort of your home. HIV self-tests now allow those testing to have privacy as they become aware of their status, in their own space, on their own time. This will largely contribute to creating avenues for those testing to have access to proper resources for next steps in response to their result.

HIV PREVENTION

Let’s Stop HIV Together’s approach to HIV prevention includes use of messaging technology to inform adults of their prevention options, allow for effective discussion about what their options are, & ultimately aid in adults selecting the option that is right for them. Let’s Stop HIV Together’s campaign resources promote and provide information relating to:
