Resources Available from The Faith-Based HIV/AIDS Technical Assistance Center

The Balm In Gilead's Black Church HIV/AIDS National Technical Assistance Center provides a wealth of information on how to engage Black churches in HIV prevention education. The center is also a resource for understanding the importance of the church in the Black community and its role in providing compassion, care and advocacy around the issue of HIV/AIDS in the African Diaspora. These are just some of the resources we have available for your use:

• For the Healing of AIDS: 52 Week Church Bulletin Meditation (1st Quarter, 1.17 MB)
  These meditations can be used in your church bulletins or during service readings to “heighten” the awareness of HIV, and to start and/or continue the life-saving conversation about AIDS.

• We Will Break The Silence! - PrayerBook - A collection of Liturgical Resources for the Healing of AIDS.
  With this edition, we affirm all churches and individuals who, indeed are breaking the silence on AIDS within their congregations and communities. Thus, we have changedthe original title of 1994 from Who will Break the Silence? to the present title of We Will Break the Silence!
