    • Conference Package $325.00; After May 10, 2002, $375.00
      Includes all conference materials; three meals per day plus snacks; and access to all conference activities.
    • Daily Conference Package $135.00
      Includes conference materials for the day's agenda; meals and access to conference activities on that day.
    • No refunds after May 15, 2002

    CONTINUING EDUCATION/EXTENSION CREDITS

    Continuing Education/Extension Credits $25.00
    Participants will be eligible for two credits from the New York Theological Seminary in New York. You must attend the entire conference to receive continuing education credits.

    ACCOMODATIONS

    The Dolce Tarrytown House Conference Center is fully equipped with a fitness center, indoor swimming pool, ballrooms, restaurants and guest rooms. The Conference Center is located approximately 30 minutes north of New York City. Please call The Tarrytown Conference Center directly at 914-591-8200 to secure your rooms.

    Single Room/per night $125.00
    Double Room/per night $100.00 per person

    TRANSPORTATION

    Participants can fly into New York LaGuardia Airport (approximately 45 minutes from The Tarrytown Conference Center) or Westchester County Airport in White Plains, NY (approximately 25 minutes from The Tarrytown Conference Center).

    Shuttle from Airports
    Westchester Express Shuttle Service

    • Participants must arrange their own ground transportation to The Dolce Tarrytown Conference Center. To make reservations please call the Westchester Express Shuttle Service at 1-800-532-3730.

    AMTRAK Rail Service

    • Participants can take Amtrak Rail Service from New York City to Yonkers, NY or Croton Harmon, NY. Taxi service is available from Yonkers, NY and Croton Harmon, NY (approximately 20 minutes from both rail stations).

    Metro North Rail Service

    • Participants can take Metro North Rail Service to Tarrytown, NY from New York City and Connecticut. Please call Metro North for more information. Taxi service is available. (Approximately 5 minutes from station).

    American Airlines is the official carrier for The Black Church HIV/AIDS Training Institute. Call Tra Val Services at 1-800-334-8375 to make airline reservations.

    Avis has assigned The Black Church HIV/AIDS Training Institute a specific discount number. The AVIS Worldwide Discount (AWD) number is J064624 and it should be used when calling AVIS directly at 1-800-331-1600 to receive the best car rental rates available

    SCHOLARSHIPS

    • A limited number of scholarships (includes full conference registration only) are available to members of Black churches with budgets under $50,000 per year and to persons living with HIV who are church members.
    • To apply for a scholarship, send a letter to The Balm In Gilead no later than April 30, 2002, requesting a scholarship and outlining your church's present commitment and future plans to address HIV/AIDS in the Black community. All letters must be co-signed by the pastor of the church.
