Faith and Health Resources
- HopeandHealing.org is a ministry of the Church Health Center in Memphis, Tennessee. We believe that faith and health are intimately linked. The mission of HopeandHealing.org is to illuminate this connection. We are part of a growing movement to engage faith communities in the importance of caring for the body God has given us.
- The Park Ridge Center explores and enhances the interaction of health, faith, and ethics through research, education and consultation to improve the lives of individuals and communities.
- Templeton Foundation Press publishes scholarly and trade books on a variety of subjects, including the connections between science and religion, spirituality and healing in medicine, the verification of universal spiritual laws, character development, and freedom.
- The Interfaith Health Program (IHP) builds and nurtures broad, rich, and deep networks for learning within and across health and faith systems--local, national, and global.
- Health Ministries Association We are a non-profit membership organization; a support network for people of faith who promote whole-person health through faith groups in the communities they serve.
- International Parish Nurse Resource Center Deaconess Parish Nurse Ministries and the International Parish Nurse Resource Center foster physical, emotional, spiritual, and social harmony leading to healthy and healing relationships with God, family, faith communities, culture, and creation.
- National Episcopal Health Ministries Health ministry in a local congregation is an intentional ministry focusing on both healing and health, combining the ancient traditions of the Christian community and the knowledge and tools of modern health care.
- The United Methodist Church Congregational Health Ministries Lafiya is one program of a congregational-based, whole-person health ministry that helps people assume responsibility for their own health within a caring community. Central to the Lafiya program is the formation of groups that provide mutual caring, nurture, and suport, based on the core principles or listening, empowering, and resourcing. Using these principles, congregations can become places of health and healing.
