    The Balm In Gilead and Harlem Congregations for Community Improvement Presents 12-Hour Prayer And Gospel Vigil

    Gospel Performers Bobby Jones and Donald Lawrence Join Area Church Choirs To Conclude 14th Annual Black Church Week of Prayer for the Healing of AIDS With Prayer and Song Extravaganza

    NEW YORK CITY-February 1, 2003…The Balm In Gilead and Harlem Congregations for Community Improvement (HCCI) presents a 12-hour Prayer and Gospel Vigil on March 7, 2003 as part of the 14th Annual Black Church Week of Prayer for the Healing of AIDS (March 2-8, 2003). This Gospel and Prayer Vigil will feature as a guest host Black Entertainment Television's Dr. Bobby Jones and will feature more than 20 choirs from the New York City, New Jersey and Connecticut areas. In addition to performances by Tri - City area church choirs, confirmed celebrity performers include Stellar Award winner and Gospel sensation Donald Lawrence. The event kicks off noon on March 7, 2003 at Salvation and Deliverance Church, 37 West 116th Street and although it is free and open to the public, donations will be accepted to further the work of The Balm In Gilead and HCCI.
