Some
Black churches may try to skirt the issue of AIDS, but Seele's organization
helps them pave the way for communication and civic action. Now she's taking
her message to the Motherland, where AIDS-related deaths claimed more than 2.4
million lives this year. By joining forces with Christian and Muslim leaders
from countries like Tanzania and Zimbabwe, she hopes Balm In Gilead's Africa
HIV/AIDS Faith Initiative can help end the devastation.
