Black Churches unite Against AIDS

The Black Church Week of Prayer for the Healing of AIDS begins
at 8:30 a.m. Sunday with the ringing of the Millennium Peace Bell,
in Newport. From 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday the Urban League presents "The
Heart of the Matter," a video and workshop on black women's
struggle with AIDS and Black Churches' role. Monday is a day of
prayer and fasting. From 1-3 p.m. Tuesday the HIV/AIDS Faith Based
Training Initiative meets. For information, call 513-961-1801. St,.
Agnes Church, in Bond Hill, hosts worship at 7 p.m. March 8. A special
HIV/AIDS service at Allen Temple A.M.E Church is from 10 a.m.-1
