Churches to Observe Week of AIDS Care

Churches in Milwaukee, Racine, Beloit and other areas are observing a Black Church Week of Prayer for Healing of AIDS.

Milwaukee events include a Gospel concert from 6 to 8 tonight at Moriah Baptist Church, 2747 N. 4th St., and a closing celebration with the theme "Touching the Hem of His Garment" from 9 a.m. to noon March 10 at Albright United Methodist Church, 5555 W. Capitol Drive.

Progressive Baptist Church, 8324 W. Keefe Av., will introduce a new HIV/ AIDS ministry called "Wings" at 11 a.m. worship on Sunday and at an information session from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Call Pastor Rolen Womack, Jr., (414) 462-9050.
