Health Disparities ProgramsCelebrating over 20 years of service, The Balm In Gilead develops educational and training programs specifically designed to meet the unique needs of African American and African congregations that strive to become community centers for health education and disease prevention. The Balm in Gilead develops its own unique Initiatives and Programs and also partners with selected groups to help promote its mission. We are committed developing and implementing a sustainable health education and service delivery system within each denomination to address the challenges of HIV/AIDS, cervical cancer and other health disparities disproportionately affecting African Americans. More importantly, The Balm In Gilead is working to make all these prevention programs and services available to women everywhere. Current Projects & Initiatives |
