Spread The Word! Save A Sister!
The World Health Organization defines health as “a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. “Our vision at the ISIS Project is to create optimal wellness throughout the life cycle of Black women, taking into account the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual components of our lives. The mission of the ISIS Project is to educate and empower Black Women about cervical cancer prevention, including HPV, vaccines and the need for regular screening to ensure early diagnosis and treatment. African American women die at an alarming rate from cervical cancer. Death occurs too often in the spring season (young adult) of our lives and again, untimely, during the winter season (elderly) of our lives. Cervical cancer is preventable! Get the facts. We deserve to live long and healthy! Each One! Teach One! Get the Facts! Spread the Word! Save A Sister! Download our Reminder Postcard and send it to the women in your life. |
