The Board of Directors thank all of our faith partners in the United States and throughout Africa that have joined The Balm In Gilead's crusade to prevent diseases and improve the physical, emotional and spiritual health of all people.

We believe that faith communities must be on the front line of addressing life-threatening diseases, especially HIV/AIDS. We honor and thank all of our faith partners for their courage and commitment to fight AIDS stigma and providing compassionate service and education. The light that faith communities are beginning to shine on HIV/AIDS in rural and urban villages from Dar es Salaam, Tanzania to Richmond, VA are flames of healing. We sincerely hope that the new wind of hope will spread these flames and all of us will burn with a new commitment to save our communities from all preventable diseases.

As we move forward together, may each of us commit to making the space we occupy in the universe, loving, beautiful, healthy and economically sustainable for all.
