Reverend Dr. Barbara Austin-Lucas: Reverend Dr. Barbara Austin-Lucas is an itinerant elder of the African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church. In 1974 she was selected as the first participant in the Teachers-in-Partnership Program sponsored by the AME denomination and assigned to Monrovia, Liberia, West Africa. For five years, Rev. Dr. Ella Pearson Mitchell, M.A., D. Min., L.H.D. : Ella Pearson Mitchell has team taught with her husband as Visiting Professor of Homiletics a the Interdenominational Theological Center, Atlanta, 1988-2001. She also co-mentored in D. Min. Programs at United Theological Seminary, Dayton, OH (1991-2001). Prior to their team teaching she served two years as the first female Dean of Sisters Chapel at Spelman College, and four years as Assoc.
